Shipping and Return Policy

Important Note: The following shipping and return policies apply only to tangible, physical products sold by LayerLines. These policies do not apply to digital products, design files, or commercial use agreements.

Shipping Policy

Processing Time

  • We carefully process each order within 2-3 business days to ensure quality and proper packaging.
  • During peak seasons or promotional periods, processing times may be slightly longer. We appreciate your patience and will notify you of any significant delays.

Shipping Methods and Costs

  • We currently use USPS for all our shipments within the United States.
  • Specific shipping methods and costs are calculated at checkout based on the package weight, dimensions, and your location.
  • We’re continually evaluating our shipping options to provide you with the best balance of speed and affordability.

Tracking Information

  • Once your order is shipped, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing your USPS tracking number.
  • This allows you to monitor your package’s journey from our facility to your doorstep.
  • If you don’t receive tracking information within 4 business days of placing your order, please contact our customer service team.

Delivery Estimates

  • Standard Shipping: Typically 3-7 business days after processing
  • Expedited Shipping: Usually 2-3 business days after processing
  • Please note that these are estimates and actual delivery times may vary based on USPS performance and your location.

Shipping Coverage

  • At this time, we only ship within the United States, including all 50 states and U.S. territories.
  • We do not currently offer international shipping but may expand our reach in the future.

Return Policy

Return Window

  • We offer a 30-day return window for physical products, starting from the date of delivery.
  • To be eligible for a full refund, the item must be in its original condition and packaging.

Full Refunds and Shipping Costs

  • If you’re returning an item due to a change of mind, we’ll refund the full purchase price of the item.
  • In this case, the original shipping costs are non-refundable, and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • If the item arrives damaged or defective, we’ll refund both the full purchase price and the original shipping costs. We’ll also cover the return shipping in this scenario.

Damaged on Arrival

  • If your item arrives damaged, please contact us immediately with photos of the damage.
  • We’ll promptly send out a replacement at no cost to you.
  • There’s no need to return the damaged item unless specifically requested.

User Damage and Good Faith Replacements

  • We understand that accidents happen, especially with 3D printed items that can be delicate.
  • If your item breaks during normal use within the first 30 days, please contact us. We’ll assess each situation individually and may offer a one-time replacement as a gesture of goodwill.
  • However, we reserve the right to deny replacements in cases of obvious misuse or repeated claims.

Non-Refundable Scenarios

  • Items that have been obviously misused, intentionally damaged, or altered
  • Returns initiated after the 30-day window has closed
  • Items returned without prior authorization

Exchanges

  • If you need a different version of the same product, we’re happy to process an exchange.
  • Simply return the original item to us (at your cost), and once received, we’ll ship out the new item at no additional shipping cost to you.

Return Process

  1. Contact our customer service team to initiate a return or exchange.
  2. We’ll provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and return instructions.
  3. Pack the item securely and include the RMA number on the outside of the package.
  4. Ship the item back to the address provided in the return instructions.
  5. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we’ll process your refund or exchange.

Refund Processing

  • After approving your return, we’ll initiate your refund to the original payment method.
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank’s processes.
