Design File and Commercial Use Warranty

This warranty applies specifically to design files and commercial use agreements provided by LayerLines. It does not cover physical products sold by LayerLines. See the Shipping and Return Policy page for more details on our 3D printed products.

Design File Warranty

File Integrity and Compatibility

1. We warrant that all design files provided are free from corruption and are compatible with the specified software versions mentioned in the product description.
2. If you encounter issues with file integrity or compatibility within 30 days of purchase, we will provide a replacement file at no additional cost.

Design Accuracy

1. We guarantee that the design files accurately represent the product as shown in the preview images and described in the product listing.
2. If there are significant discrepancies between the file and the product description, we will either provide a corrected file or offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

Printability

1. For 3D printable design files, we warrant that the designs are printable using standard consumer-grade 3D printers when following our recommended print settings.
2. If you experience persistent printing issues despite following our guidelines, we will provide support to resolve the issues or offer a refund if the problems cannot be resolved.

Commercial Use Agreement Warranty

Legal Right to License

1. We warrant that we have the legal right to grant the commercial use license for the designs covered by the agreement.
2. In the event of any third-party claim challenging your right to use the design commercially, we will defend your right to use the design as permitted by the agreement.

Agreement Clarity and Enforce-ability

1. We guarantee that the terms of the commercial use agreement are clear, unambiguous, and legally enforceable.
2. If any part of the agreement is found to be unenforceable in a court of law, we will work with you to amend the agreement or provide a refund if a suitable amendment cannot be made.

Ongoing Validity

1. We warrant that the commercial use agreement, once purchased, will remain valid for the duration specified in the agreement, regardless of any future changes to our licensing policies.
2. Any updates or changes to our licensing terms will not retroactively affect existing agreements unless explicitly agreed upon by both parties.

Limitation of Warranty

1. This warranty is limited to the replacement of design files, amendment of commercial use agreements, or refund of the purchase price.
2. We do not warrant the commercial success or profitability resulting from the use of our design files or commercial use agreements.
3. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our design files or commercial use agreements.

Claiming Warranty Service

To claim warranty service:

1. Contact our customer support team within 30 days of discovering the issue.
2. Provide a detailed description of the problem, including any error messages or screenshots.
3. Our team will work with you to resolve the issue, provide a replacement, or process a refund if necessary.

Duration of Warranty

This warranty is valid for 30 days from the date of purchase for file integrity, compatibility, and design accuracy issues. For commercial use agreements, the warranty on our legal right to license and the agreement’s enforce-ability extends for the full duration of the agreement.
